JET Robot Included in JET Tools PDF Print E-mail

JET Robot was developed in 2007 as part of a project with the Technical High School in Yverdon, Switzerland.
It has been extensively modified and developed since then as an external module for JET.
In JET 6.1 JET Robot has been integrated into JET Tools.

JET Robots main characteristics are:
  • Controlled from a master module in JET Tools.
  • Can work with any number of client robots. Each robot being able to support a large number of sessions.
  • Any number of scripts.
  • Scripts can access UI fields and JET data by name. It will thus continue to run if the screen is rearranged.
  • Any combination of scripts can be run at various speeds with fixed or random pauses inserted.
  • Results are returned to the JET tools console for statistical treatment and reports.

A new version of the editable table component is available in JET 6.1.
This not only allows tables to be edited as was already the case, but has enhanced support for a large unmber of standard UI components.

JET 6.1 Support for Java 6 Update 10 and higher PDF Print E-mail

JET has always supported the current version of Java. With Sun preparing to release Java 6 update 10, this is no exception.
The latest version of Java, although presented as a simple update provides a large number of new features, particularly concerning deployment. JET 6.1 supports many of these new applet-deployment possibilities from the onset.
